 πŸŽ‰Family Activities in Brussels, 8–14 September 2025πŸŽ‰

@brufamilyweekly

This week in Brussels is filled with fun for the whole family πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦. On Tuesday, the historic center of Anderlecht will come alive with its annual fair 🎭 – think braderies, flea markets, concerts, street arts and even a parade of Giants lasting all day long! Mid-week, kids who love gaming can join the Junior Computer Club in Ixelles to build their own Minecraft Village, while music lovers can enjoy the Auderghem Music Marathon on Thursday 🎢.

As the weekend arrives, there’s something for everyone. On Saturday, little ones can stretch and relax at the Parent-Child Yoga session in Etterbeek 🧘, while future tech enthusiasts try coding with Scratch and Lego in Molenbeek. Schaerbeek joins the global 🌍 movement with World Cleanup Day in Josaphat Park, and Uccle celebrates with its lively Saint-Job fair full of rides and shows.

The big highlight comes on Sunday, September 21 🌳: Car Free Day! From 9:30 am to 7 pm, motor vehicles are not allowed anywhere in the Brussels Region, including the City of Brussels. It’s the perfect chance to explore the streets safely by bike or on foot 🚲🚢. Families can join guided tours in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert or enjoy neighborhood fun at the AndromΓ¨de festival. Just keep an umbrella handy – the weather will be mostly cloudy with mild temperatures, but there’s an increasing chance of rain 🌧️.
